About Us

Just a couple of – about to turn thirty, tired of living in the bombardment of everyday life, adventure seeking, dog owning, need to get out and breathe the fresh air, people. We found a job post on Craigslist seeking a couple of caretakers for a back-country lodge in Idaho, took it, and packed up our house in less than thirty days.  Our small pack is living at Deadwood Outfitters for the Winter and early spring, located in the Boise National Forest, and a few miles away from the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. We are snowed in, and snowmobile access only for our time here. We are exploring solitude, snow, and adventuring the Idaho outdoors.
